PROMs for pediatric IBD patients

My Picture My postdoctoral research focuses on testing the feasibility of Patient Reported Outcome Measures (PROMs) in the healthcare for children and adolescents with Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD). This project is led by Prof. dr. Escher. PROMs focusing on anxiety, depression and disease symptoms (e.g. bowel complaints) will be implemented. Patients and their parents will complete these PROMs every 3-6 months. After implementation feasibility will be assessed. Patients will provide feedback and their scores and possible referrals to a psychologist will be assessed. This project is preregistered on the OSF.
