Mental well-being of parents with a child with a visible difference

This project aims to study the mental well-being of parents with a child with a cleft lip with or without palate or an infantile haemangioma. Both are visible conditions that could potentially impact parents. A total of 400 parents (226 mothers, 174 fathers) completed questionnaires assessing their stress and distress, along with their child’s emotional and behavioural problems.

Data was collected by another PhD student. I am involved in analysing and reporting the data.
